    - To encourage the composition, production and broadcast of local music that is genuinely reflective and responsive to Filipino condition all radio stations with musical format programs are required to devote at least half of their time to broadcasting OPM
    - To ensure compliance of announcers, broadcasters and disc jockeys, every title of music played is logged for inspection of the National Telecommunications Commission
