Commission on Women which will absorb the functions
of the national Commission on the Role of Filipino
Women (NCRFW), and monitor the implementation on the
laws on women and the performance of government agencies
in gender responsiveness of national development plans,
review and evaluate the extent to which women are
integrated in all sectors of economic and social life,
provide technical assistance in the setting up and
strengthening of mechanisms on gender mainstreaming
and on the formulation of policies affecting women,
among others
